My Letter to White House Counsel David Warrington

After President Trump issued Executive Order 14176 requiring a plan to declassify “ release of all records in the Federal Government’s possession records.” The declassification plan was to be prepared by the Director of National Intelligence, the National Security Advisor and the Attorney General in coordination with the White House Counsel.

The purpose of this letter was to inform the White House Counsel that the universe of records in the possession of the federal government pertaining to the assassination of President Kennedy was not the JFK Collection maintained by the National Archives and that there were records held by other agencies that had to be transmitted to NARA and declassified before the Trump Administration could declare “mission accomplished”. My letter includes a list of some of the more important records that are not contaned in the JFK Collection.
